Oakleaf Cheerleading


Our mission is to provide a positive youth cheer experience that will promote the wholesome development of youth.

What does it take to be a Lady Knight?

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn!
  • 6 hours a week of practice, usually 2.5 hours a day for 2 days a week.
  • Willingness to compete with your squad. 
  • Participation in community events
  • Our fall season will start the last week of July and run until the end of November. (WE WILL NOT BE COMPETING THANKSGIVING WEEKEND)

Registration Information

We now welcome athletes from Oakleaf, Argyle, Middleburg, and West Jacksonville! 

Fees for 2020 season are as follows:

  • Registration fees:
    • Registration this year is $330.00 per athlete.

Things not covered in registration that we will fundraise for:

  • Oakleaf Competition Bows
  • Oakleaf Sideline Bow
  • Team Specific Practice Shirts 
  • Breast Cancer Socks
  • Breast Cancer Bows
  • End of the year awards
  • End of the year Gala

Things not covered in registration that you will need to purchase for your athlete:

  • Black Cheer shoes. You can purchase ANY brand but they must be cheerleading shoes. 


Join us for an exciting 2020 cheer season! We are going to have a lot of fun but also learn a lot as well! Are you ready? WE ARE!! GO KNIGHTS!

Practices will be held twice a week. Practice schedules will be posted once Coaching Rosters are finalized. Feild Practices will be held in Oakleaf.

Our Theme this year is Military Appreciation. Uniforms and practice wear will reflect the theme.

The last week of July will be cheer camp. Please plan on attending Monday - Friday from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm (More details to follow as the date draws near)

The first week of August teams will begin their regular practice!

August 22nd is Jamboree!


*This year's package will NOT include cheer shoes as a result of fitting issues. All athletes must have a pair of plain white cheerleading shoes, any brand, as long as they are cheerleading shoes by July 27, 2020.

**Each athlete will have a fundraising budget to be determined by the start of camp. Each squad will disclose an itemized list of what the fundraiser budget is to cover at the beginning of camp. We will have several fun Fundraising opportunities.This is usually around $200 or less per athlete. 

***Each athlete is responsible for having a family member aged 18 or older commit to two hours of volunteer service. This is easily handled by volunteering for one home game or conference competition.
